Seeing how this is the only Post Office within walking distance you would think they'd ensure there was someone trained on at all time to deal with the Postal duties; however, this is not the case. In entering the shop/postal office I noticed that there was a sign saying 'position closed', now this was at 11.30 and on Google is say it's closing time is 12.30. I asked the girl behind the shop counter if it was opening and she replied "she didn't come in today". The Asian shop assistant then mentioned that she was coming in today for the girl to mention she closed at 11 with me still waiting there for someone to give me a straight answer. I then asked where else is there, the girl told me Burntisland. I traveled to Burntisland and I wasn't even off the bus and I could see that the Post Office was closed. This made me furious! So getting of the bus and crossing over to wait again from another bus back to Kinghorn was a waste of my time and money. As much as I tried to bite my lip I had to go back into the postal office and give them a piece of my mind; I didn't swear or come across as aggressive, all I said was I went to Burntisland Post Office and it was closed, so maybe in future if you're going to send people elsewhere instead of wasting their time like you have mine, you're sending them to places that are open. I don't know if this girl is stupid or just wasn't listening but she asked if I've tried Kirkcaldy? I replied 'I'm not spending my day travel around looking for Postal Offices that are open' and walked out. I won't be coming back here and would advise you don't either; erratic opening times, clueless staff etc. Not worth you time or money!
